Help: Flexagon Inspector

The Flexagon Inspector is a companion app for the book The Secret World of Flexagons. See the book for a full explanation of flexagons, flexes, and how to use the app.

Printing and folding: See Help: Making Flexagons for tips on printing and folding the templates made by Flexagon Inspector. Find the template for the current flexagon by scrolling to the bottom of the Flexagon Inspector page.

Providing links: You can send someone a link to a flexagon you've designed using the options at the top of the Flexagon Inspector. Find the advanced options checkbox and make sure it's checked. Find URL parameters below that, copy the text that follows it, and add it to the base URL. For example, if you selected overall shape: square, pat count: 8, and generating sequence: (S*>>)4, the box will contain
 ?name=square%20octaflexagon&generator=(S*%3E%3E)4
When you add that to the base URL, the full URL will be
 https://loki3.github.io/flex/inspector.html?name=square%20octaflexagon&generator=(S*%3E%3E)4
When someone follows that link, they will see the flexagon you've designed.
